Our explorers have just succesfully completed their Cheif Scout Award Platinum Expedition.

The Expedition went as follows:

We got the train to Horton - in - Ribblesdale, on Friday 10th October and camped their over night. On Saturday morning we set off on the days hike which took us 12 Miles to the Beckermonds/Oughtershaw area, where we were to camp that night. On Sunday morning we set off for Kettlewell, another 12 Mile Hike taking us through Hubberholme, and Buckden along the Dales Way next to the River Wharfe.

On the 11th January 08 our explorer unit went to Winter Camp at Gilwell Park. We had a great weekend. There were many activities to do including; sphereing, climbing, abseiling and Quad Biking. It was exceptionally muddy - click here to see photos.  ”what a weekend!”

The Explorer Site is now functional.
