De Romille

De Romille Explorers is based at Skipton 5th's headquarters, 'The Dump'. This large building was rebuilt in 1961 following an arson attack. It compromises of a large assembly hall, kitchens, toilets and full storage facilities, off Newmarket Street.

De Romille itself was formed in 2003 after the shift from Venture to Explorer Scouts.

Valhalla

Likewise formed in 2003, Valhalla Explorers is in partnership with 1st Kildwick and Farnhill, and share their headquarters, a converted Co-op. The Co-op likewise features full facilities, and was bought and converted in 1974, although 1st K + F was formed in 1941. The group, with Valhalla Explorers, has a regular gangshow, every year, now approaching 70 years.

The group also has regular events, such as an annual canal boat trip overnight in March. There is usually a regular camp to Gilwell in January, as well as one in Spring Bank. Other activities include an Autumn Cooking Competition, joint meetings with De Romille, and Wide Games up at Sutton Clough and Farnhill Moor.
